About Edy Seaver

Venice inspires me. My life has been an adventure of left brain verses right brain.  Living and working in suburbia dulls our senses, our life is full of routine that we long to break free of at some point in our life.  I feel to fully experience life we need to see what is around us and pull from it…the textures, the color and the joy.  Color is so important to me and my work, it wakes up the brain to say, “Life is exciting, life is electric.  I want to experience each day to the utmost!”  I feel that the purpose of my art is to bring wonder to the viewer, to cause the mind to wander into secret spaces and worlds that are only dreamed about.
